Nha Trang lies in a valley surrounded by mountains to the north, west and south, and Southeast Asia Sea to the east. Cai River and Cua Be River divide Nha Trang into three parts with 19 islands in total. The largest island, Hon Tre blocks all wind coming into Nha Trang, giving Nha Trang much less wind and waves than Mui Ne.
To many travelers, the real delight of Nha Trang is a boat trip across its turquoise water to explore its plentiful coral reefs and secluded islands with pristine forest. Monkey Island, in particular, will be one of your most fantastic discoveries in Vietnam. This desert island is home to thousands of monkey, lovely and very naughty animals.
Nestled on the beautiful Hon Tre (Bamboo Island), Vinpearl Land is in itself a popular attraction in Nha Trang. It boasts an amusement park with total area of 200, 000 square metres. You will have unlimited entertainment opportunities with a unique system of sea-crossing cable cars, a large water park, a fantastic underwater path, a grand shopping mall and several excellent dining options. It is one of the largest and most modern parks in Southeast Asia.
The Whale Island is situated in Van Phong Bay, around 80km east of Nha Trang City. Away from mass tourist hub, Whale Island offers complete tranquility and perfect postcard settings with lush forest, rolling hills, soft white sand and blue sea. The bay is recognized by the International Association of Diving (PADI) as one of the most attractive diving destinations in Vietnam. Its water is so clear that you can sea school of colorful fishes near the shore. Van Phong bay and Whale Island promises you a perfect escape from your hectic lifestyle.
